More can be found on the Suffolk League website (see links), including tables and individual performances. Due to a problem with transport, any help from parents who may be willing to help drive the team to the away games would be greatly appreciated. This year Woodbridge will be entering two teams into the BCF national schools championships. Woodbridge 'A' v Woodbridge 'B' in the final perhaps!!??. Keep your eyes peeled for more information.
There are junior tournaments being staged throughout the year, many of them being held in london, which is relatively easy to get to. The players at the school are encouraged to play in as many of such tournaments as possible. In some cases, when there is enough demand the school will hire a coach or minibus but this is not always possible. We are therefore reliant on the parents of the children helping out when possible, and trying to give them as much tournament experience as possible.
From the East Anglian Megafinal 2003 onwards we will be posting complete tournament results, including full cross tables
Listed below are the winners of the perennial Woodbridge or Suffolk trophies and the Supremos and Supremas of the UK Chess Challenge. Note that for all competitions tie-break is by progressive score in the first instance.
